Project EverGreen Awarding Free Mowers
Project EverGreen, a national nonprofit organization representing green industry service providers and associations will award 12 Toro mowers through their ''Beautify the Block Project'' Facebook contest.
The objective of the contest is to preserve and enhance green spaces within local communities, as carried out by organizations volunteering their time to keep yards and parks in good condition.
Project EverGreen asks groups to explain how they would use six Toro walk-behind mowers to beautify their blocks (two groups will be selected).
Cindy Code, executive director at Project EverGreen said, ''There are a lot of ways for a group to beautify its block, whether it's a cleanup effort at a park or playground, ball field or series of neighborhood lawns, we want to help take two groups' efforts to the next level with this Toro mower giveaway.
Groups can enter to win by submitting a written entry on the Project EverGreen Facebook page or by uploading a video entry to YouTube or Vimeo. To submit your entry by video please share the video link in the Facebook entry form (please note the video should depict how the mowers would be used). The submittal deadline is Sunday, September 30th.
