Thanks to a $10,000 grant from TurfMutt, and with a value-added installation job from Massey Services, a new outdoor classroom debuted at Guardian Angels Catholic School in Clearwater, Florida. Pictured at the dedication ceremony are (from left) Adam Jones, Massey Services, Sandra Hoolihan of Guardian Angels, student contest winner Marissa Weber, Kris Kiser, president and CEO of OPEI, and Mary Stalzer of Guardian Angels. Weber won the TurfMutt "Be a Backyard Superhero" contest earlier this year. Hoolihan received the National TurfMutt Teacher Award and a trip to the National Science Teachers Association convention.

Continuing its upward trajectory, the 2017 GIE+EXPO at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, was another record-breaking event. The more than 24,000 people from around the world represented a 7% increase over 2016. And exhibit space grew 9%. In fact, GIE+EXPO was recently named the 10th largest show in North America by Trade Show Executive magazine. The 2018 GIE+EXPO will take place Oct. 17-19 next year.

As seen in LC/DBM magazine, December 2017.
