Tennessee ASLA Chapter

Seventeen awards were presented at the Tennessee Chapter ASLA Annual Conference in September, including six student awards.


The Tennessee Chapter of ASLA held its Annual State Conference on September 7-8 in Knoxville. Attendees went to conference sessions to earn professional development hours. Michael Blier from Landworks Studio presented the keynote breakfast session on the challenges of integrating active ecological processes into landscape scenarios. A networking event and after-hours party was held at a local wine bar on the first night.

Alisha Eley, Kimley-Horn & Associates, advocacy chair for TNASLA, and Nathan Oliver, Hawkins Partners, won Nashville Emerging Leaders Awards in 2017 out of more than 800 nominations received.
