Ocean Boulevard Office, Long Beach, California


Located on the city's iconic major boulevard, this 105,000 square foot office building in Long Beach, California, was completely renovated in order to appeal to a dramatic resurgence in the creative office market. Bennitt Design Group transformed the outdoor spaces to present a unified contemporary landscape image that provides an impactful brand statement. The new sustainable and water-wise plant palette is not only environmentally appropriate but embodies a cohesive new and inviting address, yielding enhanced value for the owners and tenants.

Oak Knoll Residence, Montecito, California


This beguiling residence situated on a 2-acre parcel of land in Montecito, California, features mature California oaks and gently contoured topography. Bennitt Design Group dramatically transformed the property as an inviting resort-like oasis for its bi-coastal owners. Expansive outdoor decks connect seamlessly with the cottage's interior spaces to create a genuine California lifestyle. Reflecting the nearby majestic oaks, the inviting horizon edge pool combines expansive lounge decks, a fireplace, and a convenient outdoor kitchen.

Chapman University Musco Center for the Arts,
Orange, California


Comprising approximately 88,000 square feet, the Musco Center for the Arts in Orange, California, is an exciting new world class performance, entertainment and educational venue. The center is programmed to accommodate Chapman University's College of Performing Arts' theater, music and dance departments. Together with the outdoor event areas and gardens, the complex has become a vibrant new cultural center for the community and the region. Located on a highly visible site between Glassell Street and the University's Global Citizens Plaza, the building and the landscape provide a major new gateway for the campus. Collaborating with the design architect, Pfeifer Associates and the campus development team, Bennitt Design Group prepared comprehensive exterior design plans that integrate the new facilities into the existing pedestrian and landscape fabric. The building's facade and multi-level lobby face south to a large new open space, created and designed to facilitate outdoor events and functions as well as passive relaxation for students and visitors.

City National Plaza, Los Angeles, California


As one of the most iconic public plazas in Los Angeles, City National Plaza is marked by two 52-story corporate towers completed in 1972. At the center of the plaza is a grand fountain together with the striking orange sculpture "Double Ascension" by Herbert Bager. Collaborating together with the building owner, Commonwealth Partners, and the architect, Gensler, Bennitt Design Group updated and renovated the plaza space as a new inviting "Urban Living Room." Complementing the space is a popular new food and beverage pavilion with a multitude of seating, lounging and dining amenities. New water-wise native plantings include California live oaks and mesquite trees.

Sunset Media Center, Hollywood, California


Collaborating with Kilroy Realty Corporation and the architect Gensler, Bennitt Design Group transformed the outdated outdoor plaza and circulating spaces at Sunset Media Center in Hollywood, California. By creating inviting contemporary spaces for gathering, lounging and dining, the team collectively repositioned this asset as a new premier destination for tech and media companies. The Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Los Angeles (BOMA) awarded the Sunset Media Center the 2014 Local TOBY Award for Best Renovated Building.
