This past summer, 6 to 13-year-olds tended the vertical garden at Cherryhurst Parkall summer while attending the Houston Parks Rec Department Summer Enrichment Program. The children grew herbs, fruits, flowers and vegetables with the help of Flora Moon, a member of the Cherryhurst Civic Association and the director of sustainability with Expressworks.

The living wall has a wood frame, plastic planters ('Woolly Pockets') and drip irrigation. It was brought to life with funding from the Friends of Cherryhurst Park and through the work of Houston Parks Board and the Cherryhurst Civic Association. Breitling Replica Watches
