Project EverGreen is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and enhancing green spaces in communities. They work with volunteers and contractors to provide snow removal services to veterans and military families through the SnowCare for Troops initiative.

SnowCare for Troops, a Project EverGreen initiative, was founded in 2010 to provide complimentary snow and ice removal services to families of deployed military personnel and post 9/11 veterans with a service connected disability. The swiss replica watches program has enlisted more than 1,500 snow removal contractor volunteers nationwide to help more than 5,000 military families over the last six years.

The initiative does more than clear driveways and sidewalks: it gives military families and wounded/disabled veterans the independence to go about their daily routines.

National SnowCare for Troops Awareness Week, Nov 13-20, raises the profile of the program and spotlights the efforts of volunteers, military families and wounded/disabled veterans.

More volunteers are always needed. Snow removal contractors, able-bodied veterans, or anyone with a shovel are all encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers can get more information and register to give services at ProjectEverGreen.org.
