Donald Trump's unexpected and surprising victory in the U.S. presidential race sent Dow and S & P futures into a free fall Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning, USA Today reports. Dow futures swooned more than 600 points and bonds rallied as the outcome of the presidential election remained much tighter than expected. S&P 500 futures slumped as much as 5 percent following news that Trump pulled ahead of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
