John Deere was recently awarded a three-year construction equipment contract by the National Purchasing Partners Government Division, which will help eligible organizations in the U.S. more easily acquire the equipment they need. NPPGov is a cooperative purchasing organization that serves the public and nonprofit sectors. The new contract includes the manufacturer's full line of construction equipment and commercial worksite products, and already satisfies the bid process. To utilize the contract, organizations must be NPPGov members. Members interested in procuring this construction equipment can reference contract number PS16001.


With locations primarily on the West Coast, in the Mid-Atlantic and central U.S., Target Specialty Products has acquired the Detroit-based, specialty chemical distribution business Residex, doubling the market reach of the wholesale distributor of professional pest control and turfgrass management supplies. The purchase expands its operations to the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast as it gains 25 warehouse locations across 14 states.


Laticrete, a manufacturer of construction solutions including adhesives, grouts, sealers and cleaners, announced that its products will now be distributed through Emser Tile's nationwide service and distribution network. The partnership gives the manufacturer greater access to the residential and commercial contractor market.


Needing a more modern facility to offer rental, new and used equipment, and parts and service, Miller-Bradford & Risberg, Inc., the CASE construction equipment dealer in Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan, opened a new facility in Marathon City, Wisconsin, with more service bays, state-of-the-art tools, and overhead cranes for repairing larger machines than the Abbotsford, Wisconsin location.
