Project EverGreen Announces
Awareness Weeks for Three Initiatives
GreenCare for Troops, "Healthy Turf. Healthy Kids.", SnowCare for Troops
Project EverGreen, a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and enhancing green spaces, has announced awareness weeks for its three main initiatives. The goal of the awareness weeks is to increase the understanding of the mission of each program, and to spotlight the work of volunteers in their communities.
National GreenCare for Troops Awareness Week will take place May 15-21, 2016. GreenCare for Troops provides complimentary lawn and landscape services for families of military personnel and wounded or disabled veterans.
National "Healthy Turf. Healthy Kids." Awareness Week is July 10-16, 2016. This program restores and revitalizes green spaces, including sports fields and parks, for children to play, exercise and connect.
National SnowCare for Troops Awareness Week will be November 6-12, 2016. SnowCare for Troops provides complimentary snow and ice removal services for families of military personnel and wounded or disabled veterans.
Each awareness week will have media campaigns, infographics and promotional tool kits available.
