ARCSA Announces Two More Programs
ARCSA, the association that promotes sustainable rainwater harvesting practices, has announced two more national educational rainwater harvesting accreditation programs.
The American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association® recently announced the renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Santa Fe Community College on the course "Active Water Harvesting and Distribution Systems." ARCSA has now announced two more national education trainings on rainwater harvesting programs. One is with John Deere Green Tech, formalized through the MOU signing by John Deere Regional Manager Brian Quill and ARCSA President David Crawford. The third program is with the Plumbing and Gasfitters UA Local 5 Association, formalized through the MOU signing by Association Training Director Timothy Haley and President Crawford.
These MOUs are intended to produce more qualified rainwater and stormwater harvesting system installers to meet the rising demand for these systems, especially in parts of the country with drought and facing more cycles of drought, thereby creating more jobs and boosting local economies.
The MOUs create partnerships that build upon each organization's expertise and strengths to deliver a simple, high-quality process, satisfying the ARCSA accreditation requirements for rainwater harvesting and bolstering industry leadership.
ARCSA's mission is to promote sustainable rainwater harvesting practices to help solve potable, non-potable, stormwater and energy challenges throughout the world. ARCSA, Green Tech and the Association share a general interest in environmental stewardship and education, and a specific interest in sustainable rainwater harvesting. The rainwater harvesting training programs and ARCSA's accreditation program share common goals, philosophies and methods.
