Husqvarna Group has been named as the exclusive provider of chainsaws and related accessories to Asplundh Tree Expert Co., an international provider of vegetation management services. The three-year contract helps simplify the growing supply chain for Asplundh's family of companies in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand and Australia.







John Deere marked a manufacturing milestone with the completion of its one millionth tractor, a 5100M model, built at the John Deere - Augusta factory in Grovetown, Ga. In 1990, the factory produced its first unit - a 55 Series compact utility tractor.







Altoz announced a partnership with Sheffield Financial, a division of Branch Banking & Trust, to provide specialized financing programs for Altoz's commercial zero-turn mowers. To kick off the new program, they are offering no interest until June 1, 2015 and no payments until July 1, 2015. Thereafter, interest is only 1.99 percent for 48 months.







Takeuchi announced Bennett Equipment & Supply Co. as its newest dealer in South Carolina. Located in Piedmont, they will carry the full line of Takeuchi compact earthmoving equipment. Founded in 2000, Bennett Equipment is a locally owned, full-line construction equipment rental and sales company.







The Toro Co. has entered into a definitive agreement, subject to customary closing conditions, to acquire the BOSS professional snow and ice management business of privately held Northern Star Industries. Based in Iron Mountain, Mich., BOSS designs, manufactures and sells snowplows, salt and sand spreaders, and related parts and accessories for light and medium duty trucks, ATVs, UTVs and loaders.







Luby Equipment Services announced that the company has acquired the assets of H Edwards Equipment, the Case dealer for light equipment in the Caseyville, Mo., area. With this acquisition, Luby is the authorized dealer for the full line of Case products for Calhoun, Jersey, Randolph, Madison, Monroe and St. Clair counties. The entire staff of H Edwards Equipment is now part of the Luby team.








Brilliance LED, a manufacturer of landscape retrofit LED lamps, was named a Landscape Branding Partner by Cree Inc., a multinational manufacturer of semiconductor light-emitting diode materials and devices, headquartered in Durham, N.C.







The Kubota Tractor Corp is opening a nearly 450,000-square-foot parts distribution center in Edgerton, Kan., to provide service to the Midwest. The facility, which will initially employ about 75, is set to commence business in the third quarter of 2015.
