Company Info: Tensar International Corporation (Tensar) is a full-service provider of specialty products and engineering services, offering economical solutions to common infrastructure and site development needs. We are the leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance geosynthetic products and engineered solutions for grade separation applications, as well as the world’s leading developer and producer of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) soil reinforcement systems. Tensar’s new Olympia Retaining Wall System is based around a single block that can be set horizontally and vertically in order to create endless pattern options. This allows designers to create ashlar patterns, pilasters, stacked-bond borders, or virtually any other pattern with just one block. Quality You Can Rely On and Have Come to Trust Tensar offers engineered systems that combine exceptional products with technology, engineering and design. Unique in their quality, consistency and durability, Tensar® Geogrids are manufactured from polymers resistant to physical deterioration and loss of strength caused by aggressive chemical environments. Our products are backed by the most thorough quality assurance practices in the industry. And we can provide full engineering and construction services including detailing, design, site assistance and fi nal stamped drawings for each of our grade separation solutions.

Retaining Wall Systems

Used in nearly every sector, retaining walls adapt to challenging site conditions of every kind. Retaining walls are required for sites that feature difficult sloping terrain and where there is a need to maintain maximum developable area, or for locations requiring abrupt grade change, such as bridge abutments. With their limited number of integrated components, Tensar International's retaining wall systems are easier to stage and install, reduce construction time and costs and provide long-term durability, performance and structural integrity.

SierraScape Wire-Formed Retaining Wall System

A lower cost alternative to cast-in-place and other concrete retaining walls, the SierraScape(R) Wire-Formed Retaining Wall System is the superior choice for appearance, performance and value. Welded wire forms, Tensar(R) Geogrids and a locking tail strut connecting the two work together to resist differential settlement, seismic activity and heavy external loads. Inert to chemical degradation, the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geogrids enable a wider variety of fill materials to be used, including on-site soils and recycled concrete. And like all Tensar systems, a full range of services, including engineered drawings and site assistance, is available for SierraScape System installations.

ARES Retaining Wall Systems

From the ground up, everything about ARES(R) Retaining Wall Systems has been designed to resist chemical, biological or electrical corrosion. Like all of our mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) systems, ARES Systems feature integrated components developed to work together for optimum efficiency, top performance and ease of installation. ARES Systems offer two primary construction options depending upon your site, structural and budgetary needs: panel walls and two-stage construction walls.
