In this session we will discuss the requirements for applying, renewing, and amending of all Commercial Pesticide Applicator types: Pest Control Advisor, Qualified Applicator License, Qualified Applicator Certificate, and Pilots. We will also discuss the requirements for acquiring and maintaining Pest Control Businesses.

Rebecca Olson has worked for the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) since September 2013. DPR is one of six agencies under the umbrella of the California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA). She works in the Licensing and Certification Program, which is responsible for conducting exams and licensing qualified applicators, aircraft pilots, pest control dealer designated agents, and agricultural pest control advisors. It also licenses businesses that sell or apply pesticides or use pest control methods or devices for hire.
