The American Fence Association With 25 member chapters serving the association, AFA offers educational and certification options, along with providing networking opportunities to keep its members above and beyond their competition. AFA also reaches out to members from over 18 foreign countries.
The American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 by Dr. Hari J. Krishna in Austin, Texas, to promote rainwater catchment systems in the United States. Their membership consists of professionals working in city, state, and federal government, academia, manufacturers and suppliers of rainwater harvesting equipment, consultants, and other interested individuals.
The Association of Compost Producers (ACP) is a trade association of public and private organizations dedicated to increasing the quality, value, and amount of compost being produced and used in California. We do this by promoting activities and regulations that build healthy soil, benefiting people and the environment. The association provides education and communication on compost benefits and proper use through the support of scientific research, and legislation, aligned with developing and expanding quality compost markets.
Back to Natives Restoration, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the restoration and conservation of Orange County and California wildlands, though education and restoration programs featuring native plants as a centralizing theme.
The California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers (CANGC) is a trade organization that was founded in 1911 to promote and protect the California nursery industry. Over 100 years later, CANGC continues its efforts on behalf of the state's diverse group of growers, retailers, and allied partners who are united by their commitment to this unique and significant industry.
CISEC (Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control), At the July 2005 StormCon Conference in Orlando Florida, the Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC) nationwide program was born with a presentation to inspectors, contractors, designers, and regulatory personnel about the need for a certifying program specifically for construction site inspectors of sediment and erosion control measures. Today, individuals continue to take the one-day or one and one-half day construction site inspector training modules on sediment and erosion control. In addition, the number of CISEC registrants continues to grow each month.
CLASS Fund (California Landscape Architectural Student Scholarship), a not-for-profit organization, annually awards $22,000 to students in landscape architecture, ornamental horticulture, and irrigation science at both campuses of Cal Poly Pomona and San Luis Obispo in addition to UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis.
DPR's mission is to protect human health and the environment by regulating pesticide sales and use and by fostering reduced risk pest management. DPR is funded by regulatory fees and has about 400 employees, including a large number of scientists from many different disciplines.
The Green Industry Hall of Fame's mission is to honor and preserve the contributions of those exceptional individuals who have served the Green Industry. The Green Industry Awards are held yearly and honor inductees from many different divisions of the Green Industry.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, Habitat welcomes all individuals and companies who donate used building materials, volunteers, and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.
The Hispanic Arborist Association are dedicated to the safety, education and advancement of the Hispanic tree worker.
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is a regional wholesaler that delivers water to 26 member public agencies – 14 cities, 11 municipal water districts, one county water authority – which in turn provides water to 19 million people in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties. 
The Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance qualifies grasses that demonstrate a statistically significant water saving potential over conventional varieties of the same species. To do this we rely on a standard protocol for collecting and analyzing objective data from 14 trials with 13 research collaborators across North America. Once the data has been collected and analyzed, the results are sent to our third party peer review board of researchers from the University of Arkansas and Purdue University.
The Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture was formed in 1934. It is a nonprofit corporation comprised of over 4,000 persons in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada engaged or interested in the practice of arboriculture.

The National Association of Landscape Professionals is the national trade association representing nearly 1 million landscape industry professionals in the United States, with additional members in Canada and overseas. Member companies specialize in lawn care, landscape design and installation, landscape maintenance, tree care, irrigation and water management, and interior plantscaping.
The Association of Professional Landscape Designers is dedicated to advancing the profession of landscape design and to promoting the recognition of landscape designers as qualified and dedicated professionals. Members receive a myriad of benefits and opportunities that support that core mission.
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America is the professional association for the men and women who manage and maintain the game's most valuable resource, the golf course. The golf industry recognizes the association as a key contributor in elevating the game and business.
The Irrigation Association's vision is to be the recognized authority on irrigation. The IA's mission is to promote efficient irrigation through advocacy and professional development. The association supports these efforts with core support initiatives such as membership, the Irrigation Show and infrastructure.
The purpose of PGMS is to unite professional grounds managers and those interested in or providing service to the grounds management industry, to promote the dissemination of educational materials and reliable information pertinent to the execution of grounds management functions, and to assist in attaining and maintaining a high standard of business ethics.
The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)is dedicated to advancing the green industry through educational, safety, and professional development programs.
